Choreographic Group

The Choreography Montreux Company was born in 2019, under the initiative of Julie Barthelemy, dance teacher and dancer.
 

She created this group, composed of students from the Montreux Dance Center, in order to bring them into artistic projects, to make them discover her universe and to give them the opportunity to express themselves on stage.

​

Her idea is to transmit to young dancers what a creative process is: from the birth of a project, to choreographic research, to the writing and performance of a piece.

​

Julie shares with them her ideas, her ambitions, her inspirations, her artistic, musical and choreographic universe.

Together, they do everything possible to make this collaboration as professional as possible.

​

The Choreography Montreux Company aims to perform in different events, cultural and social thematic animations, or to accompany different Montreux or Vaudois events.

To be part of the company :

It is mandatory to pass an audition (we will communicate the date later).

​

We require that the dancers of the company :

  • be at least 11 years old

  • have a minimum of 3 years dance experience

  • be part of the school

  • take classical AND modern jazz classes

  • be enrolled in a package deal (minimum 3 classes per week).
